Coolant Overflow Tank Shield
Here's the overflow tank as it comes from the factory, it needs some protection!
We start with aluminum flashing from your local lumber yard,then use tin snips to do basic cutting and bend to fit.
If you would like something heavier, you can double up
on the flashing, or buy some heavier aluminum.
After fitting the flashing to the tank, we use 3M AutomotiveMounting Tape to secure the shield to the tank, make sure to
carefully clean the tank and the flashing for the best bond.
Here's the finished article, it looks nice and works well!
